Ben Lawrence is the founder and CEO of Wolf Heart Sales, an organization that guides salespeople to higher performance and higher commissions, all while earning extreme customer loyalty. He is the author of The Heart of the Wolf, the Upside-Down Secret to Being a Kickass Salesperson, a book whose principles serve as the foundation for additional coaching, consulting, and sales projects he offers select clients.
Ben’s sales career began with commission-only, door-to-door Yellow Page advertising sales. He finished last in the region but loved every minute of it and committed himself to mastering the art and science of sales. Within one year he rose to #1 producer and has remained a top performing sales pro ever since.
Over the last 30 years, he’s led sales teams in industries including banking, real estate, Silicon Valley tech, Internet of Things, professional coaching, industrial services, and contracting. He has almost always taken high risk roles within undercapitalized organizations that punch above their weight to unseat established vendors and win big clients. Most recently, Ben served as VP of Sales and Chief Business Officer at KCF Technologies, growing the company’s commercial sales from under $1 million to over $50 million, all without any outside investment and without incurring any debt.
Ben knows sales is hard. He knows that we as salespeople can have all the marketing, venture capital, CRM databases, corporate forecasting reports, and social media that the world offers, but unless our sales approach is world class, those other resources are nothing more than time-sucking, money-wasting distractions. That’s why Ben and Wolf Heart Sales are so excited to offer a proven, unconventional path to transforming sales to salespeople and the companies who employ them, taking them from a hard slog to a fun adventure that elevates both salespeople and their customers.
When not serving the sales community, you’ll find Ben seeking out other high-energy, growth-minded changemakers to join him in training for the next triathlon. He lives in State College, PA with his wife, Jessica, and three daughters.
